Bringing music to life...
The Classicalive exhibition transcends the traditional boundaries of classical music. No longer are we asking people to just listen and play - this will be a forum where they can participate, experience, buy, be educated, entertained and inspired. As a new consumer event to enter the exhibition market, it will target an influential and discerning audience of classical music enthusiasts of all ages. Their level of involvement will vary from listeners to players, from amateurs to professionals, from teachers to pupils. Classicalive combines interactive zones and performance areas with a range of organisations looking to promote and sell their products. Special features will enable organisations to increase their brand awareness and create an interactive platform. Two performance areas will profile master classes, live performances by leading and emerging musicians and interviews with celebrities. ChildrenŐs workshops enable young people to experience different instruments and a recording studio provides an insight into music production. A cinema will profile the latest videos whilst a relaxation zone will conbine relaxing music and therapies. However this is not just a branding exercise. The audience will be able to increase their exposure to classical music, try out instruments, purchase products, experience the sounds of quality music systems, including digital radio, and find out about the forthcoming concerts, festivals and competitions. Education will be central to the eventŐs success, increasing peoplesŐ knowledge and appreciation of classical music, as well as offering a range of educational opportunities. Above all, we expect the audience to be motivated and inspired. Applications to perform
