Kathryn Allnutt

Biography As a chamber musician Kathryn has played with Sound Collective, Blaze Ensemble and Superbrass (RPO Brass Ensemble) and was a founder member of the Coupland Brass Quintet and Vesuvio Wind Quintet. Kathryn currently plays with the Kenley Wind Quintet and the Purveyors of Sound Brass Quintet. Orchestral Work Kathryn's orchestral work also includes English National Ballet, the Locrian Ensemble, Oriana Ensemble, St Paul's Sinfonia, the Lutoslawski Youth Orchestra, Sussex Symphony Orchestra and Capital Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2007 and 2008 Kathryn was selected to represent the UK in the World Youth Orchestra. Her opera experience includes Die Fledermaus (Wimbledon Light Operatic Society), Hansel and Gretal, Carmen (2 x 2 Opera) and Poulenc's Dialogues des Carmelites (TCM). She appears on the recording for Naxos of Alan Houvaness' Symphonies 7, 14 and 23 and on the film soundtrack 'The Adventures of Prince Achmed' As a soloist she has given recitals in Cheltenham Town Hall and St Alfege Church, Greenwich Education Prizes and Awards
