Biography
Neyire's London solo recital debut was as part of the prestigious Park Lane Group's series at the Purcell Room, South Bank. Neyire has appeared on BBC radio 3, Classic FM and at concert halls and festivals world-wide. In October 2007 Neyire gave the London premiere of the concerto for clarinet, film, computers and percussion by the acclaimed film composer Brian Lock. Neyire has had many new solo and chamber works written for her and is developing techniques and repertoire for a new instrumental music theatre. Her most recent performances have been with Stenclmusic, a music theatre work for actor/clarinetist, tape and projection. It won awards from both the European Association for Jewish Culture and the Jewish Music Institute, London. Stenclmusic premiered in London to critical acclaim and was shown at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2007

As chamber musician Neyire was a founder member of the Britten-Pears Ensemble. They performed throughout Great Britain and in the USA, and recorded works by Jolivet and Frank Martin for ASV. The Ensemble performed at the Aldeburgh Festival, broadcast on BBC Radio 3, and appeared at the Wigmore Hall. With the clarinet quartet No Strings Attached, she worked on various large-scale community projects, including several exciting initiatives at Wormwood Scrubs prison. Winners of the Royal Overseas League Chamber Music prize and prize winners in the Gaudeamus International Contemporary Music competition, they toured frequently and made several successful recordings.

Neyire now performs with the New London Chamber Ensemble with whom she has recorded the complete wind chamber music of John Woolrich on the Meridian label. Their recording of the complete wind chamber music of Carl Nielsen will be released in 2008.

Another exciting initiative is The Zimro Trio with violinist Paul Barritt and pianist Daniel Becker.

Other chamber ensembles Neyire has appeared with include A&E - Clarinet & Percussion, The Chamber Music Company, Endymion Ensemble, Fibonacci Sequence, Locrian Ensemble, Continuum Ensemble, The New Music Players, Maurice Bourgue Wind Ensemble, English Chamber Orchestra Wind Ensemble.

As music director, composer and actor Neyire has worked with Opera Circus, Almeida Opera Festival, The Globe, Royal National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company, Bamboozle Theatre Company, A & B C Theatre Company (Assembly Rooms Edinburgh, Lyric Hammersmith London, Theatre Royal Plymouth and Zeitgeist Festival, Los Angeles, USA), Clod Ensemble, Besht Tellers Theatre Company (Arts Theatre, London West End).

Neyire is interested in exploring a wide range of musical styles and has worked with many different ensembles including the Orquesta Tipica de Maracaibo - traditional Venezuelan music, the Marianne Olyver Gypsy Ensemble, Sh'koykh Klezmer Ensemble, the Klezmer Keilidh & Scrunch, a mixed-genre improvisation group, as well as the Hip Hop Hoodios (Jewish/Latin American Hip Hop) at La Scene Bastille and Cafe de la Danse, Paris.

Neyire's graduate studies took place at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, Rotterdam Conservatoire, New York City, USA.
