Biography
Frida has played in and lead many youth chamber and symphony orchestras, and also collaborated with Finnish professional orchestras such as the Tapiola Sinfonietta and the Jyvaskyla Sinfonia. Frida was one of two violinists chosen to play with the Sound Collective in a Trinity College of Music collaboration at Blackheath Halls in 2005. Frida is now a member of the St Pauls Sinfonia and the Arion Orchestra, which she often co-leads. Frida has lead the New Orpheus Symphony Orchestra and the New Orpheus Chamber Orchestra.

Frida's orchestral work also includes Arion Orchestra (Co-Leader), City Side Sinfonia, New Orpheus Ensemble (Leader), New Orpheus Symphony Orchestra (Including Leader), Canterbury Choral Society, St Paul's Sinfonia, Tapiola Sinfonietta (Finland), Jyvaskyla Sinfonia (Finland), Redhill Sinfonia.

Frida's training orchestras include Sound Collective (TCM Collaboration 2005), Manson Ensemble (Spitalfields Festival 2007), London International Orchestra Academia (Co-Leader), RAM Concert & Symphony Orchestras, TCM String Ensemble & Symphony Orchestra, Finnish National Conservatoires Orchestra (Co-Leader), Lahti Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra (Including Leader), "Orkester Norden" Symphony Orchestra.

Frida is a founding member of the Greenwich String Quartet with whom she plays recitals as well as background music for functions and who have undertaken several SAGA luxury cruises. During her student years in London she regularly played foyer recitals and swing jazz at the Claridge's Hotel and the Savoy.

As a soloist Frida has performed concertos with the Arion Orchestra, Redhill Sinfonia, TCM String Ensemble, Lahti Conservatoire Symphony & Chamber Orchestras and Finnish Youth Orchestras. She has recorded orchestral and solo works for the record label Mils.

Frida has given recitals in Helsinki as part of the Night of the Arts Festival and in London at the Claridges Foyer Recitals series.

Frida enjoys collaborating with composers and has premiered a number of pieces: Zura Dzagnidze: Intruder - for violin, electronics and backing track (2005), Estonia - String Quartet (2005), Roger Wanamo: Night of the Humble Flea - for solo violin (2007).

Education
Frida's graduate studies took place at the Royal Academy of Music - PGDip Performance, Trinity College of Music - BMus 1st Class Hons and the Lahti Conservatoire - Finnish BMus 1st Class Hons. She has also taken the Advanced Chamber Music Course at Dartington International Summer School.
