Biography

Born in London to parents who were both professional ballet dancers, Odinn was exposed to musical atmosphere in his early formative years and finds music an easy form of expression.

He began his formal musical training at Trinity College of Music. On completing his course, Odinn went to London College of muisc, where he studied with Patricia Lynden and Rainer Schuelein, graduating with Honours.

Odinn has attended several masters classes with William Bennett OBE, and most recently studied with the international flautist Susan Milan.

Odinn's repertoire is wide and varied, light classical and classical, ranging from Baroque to 20th century and contemporary.

A winner of several comeptitions, Odinn made his recital debut in Reykjavik, Iceland. He has gone on to perform for Music Clubs, societies and Festivals in England, Switzerland and France including Paris.

For a number of years Odinn has performed regulalry for the local community in North and North West London, as well as in most of central London churches including St Martin in the Fields and St James's in Piccadilly, where he is a regular. Odinn performed in a series of concerts at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2006.

Having played with the Brent Symphony Orchestra, he has also played principal flute with the Milennium Sinfonia. He has also performed with orchestras such as Greenhill Chamber Orchestra, Shelley Chamber Orchestra (principal), The Elgar Orchestra & The Chamber Academy Orchestra. He teaches privately.

Odinn's Debut CD "Cantilena" was released on the Divine-Art, Diversions Label in January 2009.

Orchestral Work

Odinn's orchestral work includes Brent Symphony Orchestra, Millennium Sinfonia (principal), Greenhill Chamber Orchestra, Grimsdyke Brass Band, Hendon String Orchestra (performing Brandenburg No.4). Shelley Chamber Orchestra (principal), Bissolotti Players, The Elgar Orchestra & The Chamber Academy Orchestra.

Auditions for Royal Opera House Orchestra and Icelandic Symphony Orchestra.

Recitals Odinn has given recitals at a number of venues: St Martin in the Fields, St John's Church, Harrow; Fairfield Halls, Croydon; St Matthew's Church, Redhill; Music on Sundays, Chichester & Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.

Education
Odinn's graduate studies took place at London College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music
