Alex's solo performances include

Alex recently rehearsed the Schumann Cello Concerto with Dartington Festival Orchestra as a deputy soloist.

Alex's opera experience includes Peter Maxwell Davies: The Lighthouse (solo, broadcast on RAI, Italy), William Walton: The Bear (solo), and Rossini: The Barber of Seville.

Alex has an extensive experience of location recording and professional CD production, including a full working knowledge of professional digital editing software and hardware. He is fluent in French and can speak basic German.

Alex is also a keen photographer who takes professional photos for musicians, some of which can be seen in his photo gallery above.

Alex's schooling took place at Chetham's School of Music, Manchester (1997-2002). Alex's graduate studies took place at Royal Academy of Music (BMus Perf, June 2006).
