Biography

As well as her orchestral work, Julie has given chamber music recitals with her own group, the Beaman Ensemble. She also works with the Grosvenor Dance Quintet.

She has presented and performed in educational work for both school children and for the elderly. She is musical director of the University of Bedfordshire choir and directs the adult wind groups Harpenden Winds and St Albans Rehearsal Orchestra Winds.

Julie has made recordings and live broadcasts with the BBC Concert Orchestra and RCM Symphony Orchestra, and has worked on freelance sessions for Lesley Garrett, Kenco and BBC1.

Julie's orchestral work also includes Symphonia Academica, BBC Concert Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, British Concert Orchestra, All Souls Orchestra, Opera Brava, Orchestra Camera de Romania, Orchestra Radio Romania, English National Ballet, National Concert Orchestra, London Soloists Chamber Orchestra.

Education
Julie's schooling took place at Hampshire Specialist Music School (1984-86). Julie's graduate studies took place at Royal College of Music (1986-1991).
