Biography
James was born in Plymouth and grew up in Cornwall. He graduated from Trinity College of Music in 1992, where he studied double bass with Kevin Rundell and composition with Antonín Tučapský.
Some of his compositions are published by Universal Music Publishing, and used broadly on television in the UK and across the world.
Orchestral Work
Orchestras: All Soul's Orchestra, Dartford Symphony Orchestra.
James's orchestral work also includes Plymouth Theatre Company, City of Plymouth Symphony Orchestra, City of Plymouth Light Orchestra, London Contemporary Orchestra, Kensington Philharmonic Orchestra, South of England Festival Orchestra.
