Mike's theatre work includes Thursford Christmas Show (1999 - 2000), Miss Saigon (National tour, 2003 - 04), Chitty Chitty Band Band (Palladium, Dep 2004 - 05), My Fair Lady (National Tour (2005 - 06), Geoff Waye's War of the Worlds (National tours 2006 and 2008).
Mike's session experience includes the London Telefilmonic Orchestra, Urban Soul Orchestra, Music Solutions Ltd, Music Matters Ltd, Justin Pearson, BBC Concert Orchestra.
Mike's chamber music experience includes Soloists of London Quartet (2009 Gabby Lester, Daniel Bhattacharya, Jane Fenton) Solaris String Quartet (2008-9 Roland Roberts, Neil McTaggart, Nick Allen), Grace Quartet (2000-08 Kate Grace, Tim Myall, Una Birtchnell).
In 2007/8 Mike trialed for the principal viola position of English National Ballet.
As an academic and researcher, Mike has prepared recording editions for the London Mozart Players/Chandos Contemporaries of Mozart CD Series. He has also been a copyist/arranger for BMG Classics, James Galway, Goldsmiths college and the London Mozart Players.
Education
Mike was born in Poole 1971. Mike's schooling took place at Sherborne School (1984 - 1989). Mike's graduate studies took place at King's College, London University (1989 - 1990) and at Newcastle University (1991 - 1993).
