Emma's orchestral work also includes the BBC Concert Orchestra, Cameo Opera, Kent, City Chamber Ensemble, English National Orchestra, Milton Keynes Orchestra, Billingshurst Choral Society, Tring Choral Society, Mayfield Festival, British Youth Opera, Mayer-Lismann Opera, Parikian Orchestra, Tempus Chamber Orchestra and the Stevenage Lytton Players.
Emma's training orchestra experience includes: Philharmonia Orchestra "Sit-ins", London Symphony Orchestra "Side by Sides", Contemporary Music Festival - Purcell Room, GSMD Wind Group, Open rehearsal with Sir Colin Davis, GSMD Symphony Orchestra, GSMD Opera Gala - Barbican, GSMD Chamber Orchestra - Gala Farewell Concert for the Principal, Kensington Chamber Orchestra - Principal Flute, London Phoenix Orchestra - Co-Principal Flute, Canford Summer School Symphony Orchestra - Principal Flute (by invitation).
Emma has given a performance of Nielsen Flute Concerto with the Adhoc Humanitarians Orchestra, Conductor Lev Parikian (Jan 2004).
Emma solo work includes a recital with Joy Smith (Harp), Devon (Nov 2003), a recital with Ema Mitarai (Harp) for Opera East London (Jul 2003), concerts at Burgh House and Lauderdale House (Dec 1999, Jan 1999, May 1998) and a recital with Jennifer Stinton (flute) and Scott Mitchell (piano) in Cambridge (Mar 1996).
Emma is on the Extras List (through audition and recommendation) for the following orchestras: BBC Concert Orchestra, London Concert Orchestra and Guildford Philharmonic Orchestra.
Education Emma's graduate studies took place at Oxford University, BA Hons Experimental Psychology - Class 1 (1986 - 1989). Her postgraduate studies took place at University College London, MSc Educational Psychology (1995 - 1996) and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, PGDip Orch. Training Course (2001 - 2002). Teachers: Sarah Newbold, Philippa Davis, Sam Coles, Anna Noakes, Robert Manasse.
