Biography
Marie-Anne, born in 1981 in France, is a dynamic, versatile violinist who has been working in London since 2006. As well as being a highly trained classical violinist she has worked with a variety of groups in styles from pop to baroque, performing in numerous live concerts, recording sessions and TV shows.

She has recently been working on a recording for the next Razorlight album.

Marie-Anne's orchestral work also includes Symphony Orchestra of Nancy, Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg.

In London, Marie-Anne has worked with the Appassionata String Quartet, performed on the 'X-Factor' with 'Il Divo', as well as featuring in various pop acts and developing her jazz playing in performances with leading exponents including Mark Mondesir, Chris Jerome, Robin Banerjee, Miles Danso, and others.

Education
Marie-Anne's graduate studies took place at the University of Nancy (France) where she gained a degree in Musicology and a Certificate in Music Engraving. Marie-Anne's postgraduate studies took place at the Nancy Conservatoire (France) from where she graduated with First Prize in violin, First Prize in Chamber Music and First Prize in Music Theory.
