Biography
Rachel started her orchestral career in Rome. She was a full time member of the Rome Opera Orchestra for three years and subsequently spent two years with the Orchestra of La Fenice in Venice.

Rachel's orchestral work also includes Rome Opera Orchestra (Opera/Symphonic - 3 years full time), Teatro La Fenice, Venice (Opera/Symphonic - 2 years full time), New English Concert Orchestra, Guildford Philharmonic Orchestra, Sinclair Sinfonia, Snape Maltings Orchestra, Cambridge Symphony Orchestra and the Regent Sinfonia, North Downs Chamber Orchestra, Finchley Chamber Orchestra, Hertfordshire Chamber Orchestra, West London Opera. Sessions/Shows: English Symphony Orchestra (including BBC Songs of Praise, Easter 2009), Every Good Boy Deserves Favours.
Rachel speaks fluent Italian and is also an experienced administrator. Upon returning from abroad she worked for a time for violin dealer Charles Beare before returning to a playing career. She attended the first course for Music Medicine Therapists and is herself a qualified therapist.
Rachel is an experienced chamber music player and has received coaching from the Alberni and Maggini String quartets.
Education
Rachel's graduate studies took place at the Royal Academy of Music (Performer's Course & LRAM Teaching Diploma).
