Ruth's Concerto performances include Weber's Concertino, Cimarosa's Concerto and Malcolm Arnold's 2nd Clarinet Concerto.

Orchestras: BBC Concert Orchestra, Belmont Ensemble of London, Camerata Ireland, JB Management, London Festival Orchestra, Marylebone Camerata, Musical Associates (UK) Limited, National Symphony Orchestra, Opera a la Carte, Royal Ballet Sinfonia, Worthing Symphony Orchestra. Shows: Les Miserables, Oliver, War Horse, Wicked.

Ruth's orchestral work also includes London Concertante, Serenata of London, Philharmonia (2nd clarinet), Northern Sinfonia, English Chamber Orchestra, English National Ballet, Rambert Ballet, National Youth Ballet Sinfonia, Sweeny Todd, Dartington Festival Orchestra, National Musicians Symphony Orchestra (principal clarinet & Eb, 1993 - 1998), Helios Sinfonia (principal clarinet), English Mozart Ensemble, London Musici, Karelia Wind Trio, No Strings Attached Wind Trio, Turner Wind Ensemble and the Phoenix Clarinet Quartet.

Education
Ruth's graduate studies took place at the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama
