Biography
Rachel has been involved with community projects for Live Music Now! and Calderdale Music for the Deaf, and is particularly interested in music for autistic children, as she researched it as part of her final Graduate year specialisation.
Rachel has also participated in various community and education projects with OSJ during the last five years.
Rachel's solo work includes recitals with pianist, Susie Allan; concertos with the Sheffield Symphony Orchestra (Spohr No 1 and Mozart); and a live radio broadcast for Classic FM in 1995.
Rachel performed the Brahms Clarinet Trio at the Purcell Room (1996) and has given chamber recitals with the Clarinet, Soprano and Piano trio Triquetra.

Education Rachel was born in Clitheroe, Lancashire 1969. Rachel's schooling took place at Chetham's School of Music (1986 - 1988). Rachel's graduate studies took place at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (1988 - 1992). Prizes and Awards
