Biography
Emily Chapman has recently moved to North West London from the Midlands. Whilst living in the Midlands, she performed with English Symphony Orchestra, Midland Sinfonia and Midland Festival Orchestra. Now living in London, Emily is studying with Gaby Lester and is looking forward to performing with Il Divo on the UK leg of their world tour and playing in the London area.

As a Chamber Musician, Emily has played regularly in string quartets for social events.

Emily's Solo work includes a performance of 'the Lark Ascending'.

Orchestral Work
Orchestras: City of Oxford Orchestra, English Symphony Orchestra, Midlands Sinfonia, National Symphony Orchestra, Oxford Philomusica, Thames Sinfonia, Watford Philharmonic.

Emily's orchestral work also includes English Symphony Orchestra, the Midland Festival Orchestra, the Midland Sinfonia, the Queen's Park Sinfonia (co-leader), Birmingham Conservatoire Sinfonia (Leader), Birmingham Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra, Royal Holloway Symphony Orchestra (Leader), Royal Holloway String Orchestra (Leader), London Academic Sinfonia, Musica Prattica, the Xerxes Ensemble, Orchestra for Les Miserables concert performance (Leader).

Emily has also performed in the pit for many musicals, including: Die Fledermaus, Fiddler on the Roof, Annie Get Your Gun, Half a Sixpence, and West Side Story

Emily has performed with the Carpenter's Tribute on their UK Midlands Tour.

Education
Emily's graduate studies took place at Birmingham Conservatoire, Post-Graduate Diploma in Performance. Royal Holloway, University of London, BMus.

Teachers: Angus Gibbon, Jacqueline Ross, Peter Thomas, Gaby Lester.
