Biography
I began playing the piano at the age of seven and this instantly sparked my passion for music. Whilst at school I enjoyed taking part in school concerts and was then able to pursue my interest in music through completing a music degree at the University of Bristol. Here I become increasingly involved in the university's student run music society, first through performing in their choir and wind orchestra, and then through organising events as the Concerts Administrator. This position enabled me to explore my interest in music administration through organising concerts and establishing links with local music venues. On completion of my degree I spent a year as a student teacher, whilst studying towards a PGCE in music. My interest in music education then led me to my previous post as Music Administrator for Bromsgrove School where I managed a thriving instrumental and singing lessons programme.
