Orchestral Work
Orchestras: Cavendish Ensemble, English Festival Orchestra, English Pops Orchestra, Guildford Philharmonic Orchestra, London Mozart Players, New London Sinfonia, Southern Pro Musica, Watford Philharmonic. Shows: Phantom of The Opera.
Dave's orchestral work also includes Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, London Pro Arte, National Chamber Orchestra of Wales, National Sinfonia of Wales, Southern Pro Musica, Southbank Sinfonia, Royal College of Music Symphony Orchestra and the Royal College of Music Sinfonietta. David has worked with the following Big Bands: Len Phillips Big Band, Back to Basie, Pendulum Jazz Orchestra, Michael Garrick Orchestra, Hot Orange and the Royal College of Music Big Band. He has recently worked on Matthew Bourne's Nutcracker with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra (Nov 2002 - Feb 2003). David was Soloist with Cardiff University Symphony Orchestra. Dave currently holds the Bass Trombone chair with the Trinity Big Band, run by Bobby Lamb.
Education
Dave's schooling took place at Honley High School and Sixth Form Centre (1989 - 1996). Dave's graduate studies took place at University of Wales, Cardiff (BSc Physics with Music 2:2, 1996 - 1999). His postgraduate studies took place at the Royal College of Music (PGDip Performance, 2000 - 2001 & PGDip Advanced Performance, 2001 - 2002).

- Scholarship supported by a John Lewis Partnership Award (2001 - 2002)
- Studentship supported by a Fishmonger's Company Award (2000 - 2001)
- Award for Outstanding Brass Player at the University of Wales
