Biography
Iva has given recitals in London, Horwich, Sheffield, Fitzwilliam Museum, Trinity college Cambridge, Manchester, Harlaxton and a trio recital in the Warwick festival.

Her concerto performances include the Bruch concerto in G minor; Mendelssohn concerto in D minor; Wieniawski concerto in D minor; Bach Double concerto in D minor for violin and oboe; Bach Double concerto in D minor for two violins; Vivaldi The Four Seasons; Takacz Hungarian Rhapsody; Lukas Introduction and Rondo and Dvorak Romance. These were peformed in Germany, the Czech Republic, Norway and France between 1981 & 1993.

In addition to her orchestral and solo engagements, Iva also teaches violin privately. Iva taught at the Music school, Decin (1982-85).

Iva's schooling took place at Zakladni devitileta skola (1970 - 78). Decin music school (1970 - 78) Iva's graduate studies took place at Teplice Conservatory: distinction (1978 - 84); Academy of Music Arts, Prague: M.Art (with distinction) (1985 - 89); Royal Northern College of Music: PG diploma - Baroque violin (1994 - 95)

Iva's study at the Royal Northern College of Music with Lydia Mordkovitch was supported by the Headley Trust, London.
