Iona's orchestral work also includes BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Camerata Scotland, Britten Pears Orchestra and Contemporary Music Ensemble, London Contemporary Orchestra, Southbank Sinfonia, London Philharmonic Future Firsts Scheme, Aberdeen Sinfonietta, Guildhall and RCM Symphony, Sinfonia and Opera Orchestras, The Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra, The Amadeus Orchestra.

Education
Iona's schooling took place at Albyn School for Girls, Aberdeen, and the RSAMD Junior Academy (2000 - 02). Iona's graduate studies took place at the Royal College of Music (BMus, 2002 - 06), Guildhall School of Music & Drama (PGDip in Orchestral Performance, Merit, 2006 - 07; and MMus in Orchestral Performance, Distinction, 2007 - 08).
