Orchestral Work
Orchestras: Britten Pears Orchestra, Chameleon Arts Orchestra, Charivari Agreable, Norwegian Radio Orchestra. Education Work: Age of Enlightenment Education.
Stephen's orchestral work also includes New London Consort, The City of London Chamber Players, Southern Sinfonia, Charivari Agréable, Göttinger Barockorchester, Dartington Festival Baroque Orchestra and Charities Philharmonia.
Stephen's orchestral training includes working with the Royal College of Music Symphony Orchestra on both modern and natural trumpets (Including Principal Trumpet, and live BBC Recording of Helmut Lachenmann's Kontrakadenz), the Royal College of Music Post Graduate Orchestral Pathway course rehearsals with BBC Symphony Orchestra and London Symphony Orchestra, Royal College of Music Opera School production of Monteverdi's L'incoronazione di Poppea, the Royal College of Music Baroque Brass Ensemble (Co-ordinated by Mike Laird), the University of East Anglia Symphony Orchestra Principal Trumpet and Soloist and the Prince Consort Brass' 10 piece brass ensemble.
Education
Stephen's graduate studies took place at the Royal College of Music, where he is studying for a PGDip in performance (Orchestral Pathway course); University of East Anglia (BA (Hons), 2003 - 2006).
Teachers: Paul Beniston, Neil Brough, Paul Archibald, Mike Laird, David Staff, Ray Simmons and Jonathan Impett.
