Biography
Nicola is a member of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra with whom she has a 50% job share. As a freelancer she works with the Royal Opera House, Philharmonia Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, English National Opera, London Mozart Players, Welsh National Opera, Ulster Orchestra and Sinfonia ViVA.

Nicola was a member of the Southbank Sinfonia (2004) where she held 100% rotational position, including Leader and Principal Second.

Nicola's commercial experience includes Sinatra and Porgy and Bess in the West end and Babes in Arms, Chichester. She has worked with the following pop artists: Leona Lewis, BBC radio Live Lounge, Kanye West, Brit Awards, Sugar Babes, Paul O'Grady Show, Lemar, Mobo Awards, Il Divo, GMTV, Paul Potts, Richard and Judy, Jonny Dankworth and Cleo Lane's 70th Birthday celebrations at the Royal Albert Hall. She has worked reguarly with Spiritualized on UK/Euopean Tours and festivals.

Nicola has worked for Yamaha playing Electric Violin for BBC Tomorrow's World Awards and promoting Yamaha Silent Violins (2002).

As a chamber musician Nicola has worked with Covent Garden Soloists, Manning Camerata (No.2 Second Violin), Liquid Arcitechture, Lunar ensemble and Metropolitian Ensemble. With the Southbank String Quartet, Nicola performed Out of Time by Jonathan Dove at Glyndebourne (2005). She leads the Canford String Orchestra at the annual summer school.

As a soloist Nicola has performed the Bruch Violin Concerto with Wiltshire Youth Orchestra (2003), Southbank Sinfonia, St John's Waterloo (2004), the New Bristol Sinfonia at the New Olympus Theatre, Filton College (2006).

Nicola is a violin tutor for a project called Orchestrate that works with corporate companies in team building exercises. She has worked as a sectional tutor for Youth Orchestras and teaches the Violin in London.

Education
Nicola's schooling took place at Wells Cathedral School (1992 - 1999). Nicola's graduate studies took place at the Royal Academy of Music (1999 - 2003).
