Biography
As a chamber musician Merith has studied with the Brodsky Quartet, Medici Quartet, Alberni Quartet and Sigmund Nissel. She has performed at the Dartington International Festival, and the William Walton Festival in Oldham. She is the founder of the Maiden String Quartet.

Merith is also an experienced string arranger

Orchestral Work
Orchestras: Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra, De Havilland Philharmonic, English Touring Opera, London Children's Ballet, London Concert Orchestra, London Orchestra da Camera, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. Shows: Chicago, Les Miserables.

Merith's orchestral work also includes The Belmont Ensemble of London, London Orchestra de Camera, The Marylebone Chamber Orchestra, Southgate Opera.

Merith's theatre work includes Singin' in the Rain, Our House, Murderous Instincts, Of Thee I Sing, The Dybbuk. Ghetto, Iolanthe/Iphigenia at Aulis/The Birds, Royal Balladeer.

Merith's studio work includes TV sessions for Top of the Pops, The People's Choice Awards 2000, The Glory of His Name, CD:UK, The Food Factory. Merith was booked for the DVD sessions for Our House - The Madness Musical, The Kennedy Experience Live on Classic FM, Ronald Stevenson Piano Concerti 1 and 2 at Olympia, The Peasenhall Murder (documentary in association with NFTS), original demo recording of Theatre of Blood (a new musical in preproduction), Dance Mix of All Along the Watchtower.

Education
Merith's schooling took place at Chethams School of Music (1987 - 1994). Merith's graduate studies took place at Oxford University, BA (Hons) Music (1994 - 1997).

Teachers: Kato Havas, Richard Milone, Roger Raphael, Maurice Clare. Masterclasses with Zvi Zeitlin.
