Biography
After completing her sixth form studies at Chetham's School of Music in 2001 and having been a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, Natalie took up her place at the Royal College of Music as a Scholar learning with Timothy Lines and Janet Hilton. During her first two years at the RCM, Natalie played principal clarinet with Sinfonietta, won the Stephen Trier Award for Bass Clarinet gaining extra tuition with Paul Richards, was awarded the Jellineck Prize performing Weber's Clarinet Concertino with Guildford Symphony Orchestra and became a member of the London Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.

Natalie then completed her third year at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music as an exchange student where she learnt with Mark Walton, Margery Smith and Frank Celata. Whilst abroad she gained a casual position with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, was principal clarinet of the Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra, performed Mozart's Clarinet Concerto with the Conservatorium Classical Orchestra and gave a number of solo and chamber music recitals. After graduating in 2005 with a First Class Honours Degree Natalie is now combining orchestral, chamber and solo playing.

Natalie plays with several chamber music groups including Surrey Soloists Ensemble (founder member), Paragon Duo (founder member), Royal College of Music Wind Quintet, Sydney Conservatorium of Music Trio (founder member), Chetham's School of Music Wind Quintet.
