Biography
Lucy's chamber music work includes recitals and functions. She attended the 22nd International Academy of String Quartets with bursary assistance in 1998, at the Britten-Pears School. Since 1998 she has been a member of the Odyssey String Quartet, who give recitals and who provide music for functions. Lucy also plays in Diversita, formed in 2003, a recorder, violin, cello and harpsichord quartet specialising in contemporary and 20th Century music.

Lucy regularly works for the Pump Room Trio, Bath Spa and performs solo recitals for 'Music in Hospitals.'

Lucy has lead school based education workshops with the Odyssey String Quartet. She co-lead music and business workshops in collaboration with Trinity College of Music, City of London Sinfonia and Greenwich University. In 2003 she attended the Music Education Training Course at the Britten-Pears School. From September 2005 she will be the project apprentice for the Sarum Orchestra 'Specific Needs Project 2005 - 2006.'

Lucy has been booked for sessions at the National Film and Television School and the film 'Mike Bassett: England Manager'. She has also played for the Queen Tribute Band and Marianne Faithful.

Lucy's orchestral work also includes English National Ballet, extra players (1st violin trial - 1998), English String/Symphony Orchestra(2nd Violin trial - 1998), Halle Orchestra (2nd Violin trial - 1998), D'Oyly Carte Opera, Holland Park Opera, Brandenburg Sinfonia, London Soloists Chamber Orchestra, English Sinfonia, English Festival Orchestra, Brunel Ensemble, Presteigne Festival Orchestra, Apollo Chamber Orchestra, Britten Pears Orchestra, Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Thursford Christmas Spectacular (2001), Lochrian Ensemble.

Education
Lucy was born in 1973. Lucy's graduate studies took place at Royal Holloway, London University (1993 - 1996, BMus(Hons) 2:1) and Guildhall School of Music and Drama (1996 - 1997, PDOT, LGSM). From 2002 - 2004 Lucy studied part-time at Trinity College of Music and gained an MMus in Performance Studies.
