Biography
In addition to her extensive modern, and baroque, orchestral work, Elizabeth was the solo violinist on the Naxos recording of Arvo Part's Passio for solo Violin, Oboe, Bassoon, Cello and Voices, which selected by Gramaphone Magazine as their Editor's CD Choice in 2003.

Elizabeth is a member of the award winning Trio Disinvolto, whose awards and recitals include

  • Sylvia Cleaver Chamber Music Prize (June 2000)
  • Young Musicians Festival Showcase, Square Chapel, Halifax (recital)
  • Birmingham Chamber Music Society (recital)
  • Tony and Nora Southall Trust Chamber Music Society (recital)
  • Young Cygnets Spring Concert, Birmingham and Warwick University (recitals)

As a soloist Elizabeth has performed Ravel's Tzigane with the Oxford Chamber Orchestra and also several of Biber's Mystery Sonatas as part of a concert series at Queens College Chapel, Oxford.

Elizabeth teaches violin at Rye St. Antony School, Oxford

Orchestras: City of Oxford Orchestra, English Haydn Orchestra, Ex Cathedra, National Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of the Swan, Oxford Philomusica, Sinfonia ViVA, Thames Sinfonia, Westminster Chamber Orchestra.

Elizabeth's orchestral work also includes member of the Orchestra of the Swan (No.4, 1st Violin) and of the English Haydn Orchestra.

Elizabeth's freelance work includes the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, New English Concert Orchestra, London Strings, Bath Philharmonia, Christ Church Sinfonia, Regency Sinfonia, Orchestra da Camera, ViVA: the Orchestra of the East Midlands, Midland Festival Orchestra, Vivaldi Camerata, Ex Cathedra, Armonico Tributo, Orchestra of the Golden Age, Bampton Classical Opera, Sweelinck Ensemble, Corelli Orchestra, Consort of Twelve, Frideswide Ensemble, Orchestra of the Baroque and the Welsh Baroque Orchestra.

As a student, Elizabeth was invited to take part in the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra training scheme (1st Violin) and she also played with the Oxford University Orchestra (leader) and Opera Club (leader), Dartington Baroque Orchestra, Britten-Pears Baroque Orchestra, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment Student Baroque Orchestra, Jaune Orchestra Atlantique (Director, Philippe Herreweghe), and the National Children's Orchestra.
