Biography
Elizabeth frequently duets with her sister, Fiona Hosford - a harpist, and together they have performed at the Institute of Directors and on the BBC TV show Bargain Hunt.
Liz was a member of the London Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (principal from 1994 - 1995). Liz also teaches the piano and has an LGSM Diploma.
Liz has been a member of the British Transplant Team since 1993 and has travelled the world competing for her country. Medal count at the moment is +80, but the main emphasis is educating people about organ donation and signing up on the National Register, which she encourages by giving talks and showcases. She is currently a Trustee of Transplant Sport UK (formerly Transplant Sports Association of Great Britain).
Orchestral Work
Orchestras: Apollo Chamber Orchestra, Aurelian Ensemble, Bernardi Chamber Ensemble, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Docklands Sinfonietta, Opera Brava.
Elizabeth's orchestral work also includes the Bournemouth Sinfonietta, English Festival Opera, BBC Concert Orchestra, D'Oyly Carte, Pimlico Opera, Forest Philharmonic Orchestra, All Souls Orchestra, Kensington Symphony Orchestra, Kent Opera and the Ondine Ensemble.
Education
Elizabeth was born in West Sussex 1970. Elizabeth's schooling took place at Oakmeeds Community School, Burgess Hill (1982 - 1987) and Ardingly College, Haywards Heath (1987 - 1989). Elizabeth's graduate studies took place at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (1990 - 1994).

Sir Carl Meyer Prize for Double Bass (1994).
Teachers: Richard Lewis, Kevin Rundell and a masterclass with Todor Toschev.
