Biography
Vanessa is a recent graduate of the Royal College of Music where she was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma with distinction. She was awarded a full scholarship for her undergraduate studies which took place at the Royal Academy of Music. During this time she also spent three months studying at the Paris Conservatoire under the Erasmus exchange scheme.

Vanessa is a keen chamber musician and was recently a finalist in the Martin Music Ensemble Award with the Goodman Quartet.

Orchestral Work
Orchestras: Bristol Ensemble, London Musical Arts Orchestra (LMA Orchestra), The Symphony Orchestra of India, Welsh National Opera Orchestra.

Vanessa's orchestral work also includes side-by-side schemes with London Symphony Orchestra and BBC Symphony Orchestra, LPO Future Firsts 2010 (deputy), London Sinfonietta Academy reserve (2009), LMA Orchestra, London Arts Orchestra, Britten Pears Orchestra, RCM Symphony Orchestra, London European Orchestra, London International Orchestra, City Side Sinfonia, Sinfonia Eroica, Orphues Sinfonia, Canterbury Choral Society, Charities Philharmonia, Orchestra of St Paul's, Charles Court Opera. Vanessa was also shortlisted for the Auckland Philharmonia Principal Oboe position.

Vanessa's session work includes the Welsh Session Orchestra.

Education
Vanessa's graduate studies took place at Royal College of Music (PGDip with distinction, 2008-10) and Royal Academy of Music (BMus, 2003-2008, including an Erasmus Exchange at Paris Conservatoire, 2005)
