Biography
Sara's theatre work includes The Centenary Company, Royal Sutton Opera, Knowle Operatic Society, Midland Music Makers, Birmingham Conservatoire Opera and Sara has been booked for several live radio and tv filming sessions.
As a student at the Birmingham Conservatoire, Sara was a member of the Birmingham Conservatoire Double Bass quartet, and the Birmingham Conservatoire Wind Orchestra.
Sara is an experienced double bass tutor, and she has worked with Sandwell Youth Music (2002 - 2003) and has a busy private Double Bass teaching practice. Sara is Deputy Double Bass tutor at the Junior Birmingham Conservatoire (Jan 2004 -).
Sara has participated in conductor's workshops with Sakari Oramo and Paul Daniel.
Sara enjoys theatre, ballet, dressmaking, reading and travelling.

Sara's orchestral work also includes London Philharmonic Orchestra, Sinfonia Verdi (co-Princ), Telford New Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Guildhall School of Music and Drama Symphony and Chamber Orchestras and Birmingham Conservatoire Baroque Orchestra (violone).
Sara's chamber orchestra work includes King's Camerata, Bath Philharmonia (single string dates), the National Chamber Orchestra of Wales, Senesino Players, Skolia, and Young Professionals.
Sara's commercial work includes Flying Music - A night at the Opera, Milkshake Live! and The Irrepressibles.
Sara's opera work includes Sussex Opera, and performances of Otello (including solo), Turandot, Cunning Little Vixen, Samson and Delilah, Madamme Butterfly amd Lucrecia.
Education
Sara's schooling took place at Wells Cathedral School: A Levels in Music and Music Technology (1996 - 1998), and the Junior Royal Academy of Music (1992 - 1996). Sara's graduate studies took place at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama: MMus in Orchestral Studies (2003 - 2004). Birmingham Conservatoire: B Mus Hons ((1998 - 2003).
