Krassimira was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, and is a graduate of the State Academy of Music in Sofia, where she studied with Professor Dora Ivanova. After completeing her Master's degree she continued studying with world renowned professors of violin, such as Franco Gulli, Igor Bezrodini, Karen Arutunyan and Leonid Kogan.
She has performed extensively as an orchestra player, chamber musician and as a soloist, in numerous countries in her native Bulgaria, Egypt, Russia, France, Belgium, Holland Spain, Turkey, Poland and Germany, working with world renowned conuductors such as Pavel kogan and Yoel Levin.
Krassimira was sub-leader of the Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra from 1998-2000 before moving to Belgium where she continued to perform widely and was leader of a number of chamber orchestras. She performed regularly with the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra in Turkey, while also playing a number of solo recitals and contributing to a number of community-based projects.
