Orchestral Work
Orchestras: Bernardi Chamber Ensemble, Dartford Symphony Orchestra, Westminster Chamber Orchestra.

Emily's orchestral work also includes extra work with the Almeria Orchestra, Spain (2006), the RCM Sinfonietta and Symphony Orchestras, leading Deeside Orchestra, Aberdeenshire (2000), co-leader of Grampian Concert Orchestra, Aberdeenshire, (1999), St Mary's Music School String Ensemble, Orchestra (leader) and Cathedral Choir Orchestra (leader) (1998-2002), and the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland. She has worked with conductors including Junichi Hirokami, Takuo Yuasa, Sian Edwards, Garry Walker, Nigel Murray, Bramwell Tovey and Bernard Haitink.

Emily frequently plays String Quartets, most recently performing Shostakovich Quartet no.8 and Frank Bridge 'Fantasie' Quartet at the Royal College of Music and Olivier Messaien's 'Quartet pour la fin du temps' at the 2002 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

As a soloist, Emily's highlights include recent performances of Prokofiev Concerto no.2 at the Royal College of Music, Saint-Saens 'Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso' with the Deeside Orchestra and Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto (1st movement) in the Edinburgh Festival Concerto Competition Final.

Education
Emily's schooling took place at St Mary's Music School, Edinburgh. Emily's graduate studies took place at the Royal College of Music, where she gained a BMus (Hons) in 2006.

Teachers: Emily has taken part in masterclasses with Christopher Rowland, Dona Lee Croft, Richard Ireland, Benjamin Holland, Leland Chen, Wen-Jhou Li, Gaby Lester, Roger Raphael.
