Biography
Leonid has worked with many major UK orchestras, and is on the extra list of the Royal Opera House Orchestra and the Northern Ballet Theatre. He has performed as a soloist with the Opole Symphony Orchestra, Poland (1994) and is also a member of the Stringendo Quartet.
At the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Leonid studied with Stefan Popov (1995 - 1997), after graduating from the Belarus Academy of Music, Minsk (1994).
Leonid is a deputy teacher at the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music and also teaches at Streatham Hill High School for Girls.

Orchestras: Aurelian Ensemble, Brandenburg Sinfonia, English National Opera Orchestra, Haverhill Sinfonia, Opera Brava, Royal Opera House Orchestra, Thames Festival Orchestra.
Leonid's orchestral work also includes the Northern Ballet Theatre (extra list), Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Vivaldi Concertante, City of Canterbury Symphony Orchestra, Russian Chamber Orchestra of London, Opole Symphony Orchestra (Poland), and Virtuoso of Europe.
Education Leonid's schooling took place at Minsk Special Music School (1978 - 1989). Leonid's graduate studies took place at Belarus Academy of Music, Minsk (1989 - 1994), the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (1995 - 1997) and at the Royal College of Music (Performance Diploma). Prizes and Awards Laureate of Belarus National Cello Competition (1989). Teachers: Tatyana Mazanova, Evgeniy Ksaveriev, Stefan Popov, Alexander Boyarsky.
