Geoff has performed with the BBC Concert Orchestra, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and performed the Hummel concerto with the RPO at the Royal Festival Hall. His pit work includes the UK tour of The Rat Pack in Dec 2008 & 2010.
Geoff was Principal Trumpet of the Central Band of the Royal Air Force (1984-2009) and lead trumpet in the Royal Air Force Squadronaires Big Band (1984-2009). Geoff featured as a soloist with the RAF Central Band in all the major concert halls in the UK, also in the USA and Japan.
During this time he played the Last Post at many high profile engagements including 24 consecutive years at the Battle of the Britain service held in Westminster Abbey, and more unusually, on Remembrance Sunday 2009 in Afghanistan during my operational deployment.
Geoff played for services at St. Clement Danes Church (the RAF church) in Strand, London, mainly as a piccolo trumpet specialist, but also playing cornet, Bb trumpet, and Eb trumpet.
In addition to his orchestral work, Geoff performs regularly at functions with the London Fanfare Trumpets, Thames Fanfare Brass and the The Strayhorns function band, including the Last Post at funerals, wedding receptions, the opening performance of ''Elvis:That's The Way It Was'' touring show, and many engagements with The British Imperial Military Band in top London hotels, at Henley Regatta, and in film sessions for US TV.
