Biography
Katie Lockhart is a freelance clarinettist. She regularly doubles on E-flat clarinet, Bass Clarinet and Basset Horn, and also plays the C Clarinet.

Katie's orchestral work also includes the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra, New Professionals Orchestra and opera companies Second Movement and Opera East.
Education Katie's graduate studies took place at the Royal Northern College of Music (1999-2002) where she gained a first class honours degree. She then studied as a postgraduate at the Royal Academy of Music (2002-04). Her studies at the RAM were made possible by the Academy's Winifred Disney and Lena Pritchard Green Awards, the Caird Trust, the Philharmonia Orchestra's Martin Musical Scholarship Fund and Musicians Benevolent Fund.
