Biography
Jane has held prinicipal positions with the Thames Philharmonia, Norfolk Youth Orchestra and guest principal with the Dorking Philharmonia. She has held principal 2nd positions with the Dartington Festival Orchestra, City of Canterbury Sinfonia, Morley College Chamber Orchestra, London Shostakovich Orchestra and Norfolk Symphony Orchestra.

Jane is a member of the Rawsthorne piano trio and is founder member of the Asgard string quartet. She has also deputised for the Alexandria string quartet, Angel string quartet, and London Banqueting Ensembles.

Jane was guest soloist with the Norfolk Millennium Male Voice Choir tour to Amsterdam and she was also rehearsal soloist for the Thames Philharmonia and Brent Symphony Orchestra playing Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto. Jane has performed Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante with the London College of Music String Ensemble.

Other freelance work includes: London Concert Orchestra, Westminster Chamber Orchestra, Sinfonietta of Oxted, Midlands Sinfonia, Tempus Orchestra, Albemarle Orchestra, Camerata of London, Royal Academy of Music Festival Orchestra, Minehead Festival Orchestra, Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra, Orpheus Sinfonia, Amadeus Orchestra (China tour 2006-07), Jersey Chamber Orchestra, Jersey Symphony Orchestra and the London Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.

Jane's theatre work includes Opera de Baugé (co-leader), Dartington Festival Orchestra, Park Opera, The Carmen Project, Chelsea Opera Group and Windsor & Eton Operatic Society, and has included several performances of Bizet's Carmen, Donizetti's Don Pasquale, Gilbert & Sullivan's The Gondoliers, Trial by Jury and Iolanthe, Gluck's Orfeo & Euridice, Handel's Rodelinda and Riccardo Primo, Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte, Don Giovanni, Idomeneo and The Magic Flute, Puccini's La Boheme and Turandot, Purcell's Dido & Aeneas, Rossini's The Barber of Seville, Stravinsky's The Rake's Progress, Leoncavallo's Pagliacci, Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana and Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin.
