Her work with the BBC Concert Orchestra includes recordings for Radio 3, side-by-side with Southbank Sinfonia, and a joint concert in the Southbank Centre's 'The Rest is Noise' festival of Frank Zappa's 200 Motels, recorded and filmed for broadcast on Radio 3 and future webcast.

Christina Marroni attended St Mary's Music School in Edinburgh and completed an undergraduate degree in Music at the University of Manchester, studying bassoon with former Halle Orchestra Principal Graham Salvage. She then continued her studies at the Royal College of Music, learning from Sarah Burnett, Andrea Di Flammineis and Martin Field as well as with Carlo Colombo at the CNSM de Lyon.

Christina was a member of Southbank Sinfonia between January and October 2013, and the Schleswig Holstein Festival Orchestra in 2012. She held the position of principal bassoon with the Young Musician's Symphony Orchestra, resident at St John's, Smith Square, London, until January 2013.

EDUCATION

Graduate studies

the Royal College of Music (MPerf, Distinction 2010-2012) and at the Conservatoire National Superieur de la Musique et Danse, Lyon (ERASMUS Exchange Scholar). Her undergraduate degree in Music is from the University of Manchester (MusB hons. First Class 2007-2010), and she was a student at St Mary's Music School in Edinburgh from 2003-2007.
