Biography
In 2004 Emily left the position as sub-principal viola in Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. Since then she has been freelancing with chamber groups, symphony orchestras, chamber orchestras, Opera and Ballet companies and occassional TV work.

Emily is a member of Aubrey string trio who perform recitals for music society's and retirement homes. The group also run education projects.

Emily has also performed, as a guest, with the Newbold Piano Quartet, English String quartet and Aaron String Quartet.

Orchestral Work
Orchestras: BBC Concert Orchestra, Bath Philharmonia, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia, English National Ballet, English National Opera Orchestra, London Concert Orchestra, London Mozart Players, Mozart Festival Orchestra, Musical Associates (UK) Limited, New London Sinfonia.

Emily's orchestral work also includes the BBC Philharmonic, National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, Northern Sinfonia, Opera North, Philharmonia, RTE Concert Orchestra and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Trials - Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Opera North, National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, BBC Philharmonic and English National Ballet-Principal.

Television - Hot House Flowers, GMTV with the Scottish Guards, Parkinson with Russell Watson and Katherine Jenkins, Alan Titchmarsh with Bryn Terfel.

Sessions - include Moulin Rouge soundtrack, Omar sessions and Irish Film Orchestra. Emily has also played with the shows Sunset Boulevard and Phantom of the Opera.

Education
Emily's schooling took place at Wells Cathedral School (1992-1994). Emily's graduate studies took place at Trinity College of Music (between 1994-1998 where Emily received her BMus) and Limerick University (between 1998-1999 when Emily completed a MA Hons)

Teachers: Jane Atkins, Luciano Iorio, Peter Lewis and Bruno Guiranna.
