ANTONY MATTHEWS (Organ)->
Biography
I began learning the piano at the age of six, after my mother spotted me imitating my father conducting and playing the organ simultaneously! I soon took up the trombone and later the organ. These three instruments afforded me many opportunities to play both around England and Europe, and miss a few sports lessons!
During my time at Exeter University, I carried on playing the trombone in a number of the university ensembles, as well as becoming involved in the university Symphony Orchestra and Concert Band. Unfortunately, I was forced to leave Exeter and complete my degree at Bristol University, where I concentrated on performance on the organ. Recently I have also been appointed as the Director of Music at St Joseph's Church in New Malden.
I became interested in a music management career after leaving University, and realising that I missed the atmosphere of working with so many different musicians!
