Biography
Luisa's solo performances include Mozart's Violin Concerto in A minor (2006, Churchgate Sinfonia), Saint-Saen's Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso (2005, South Bank Symphony Orchestra) and Bach's A minor Violin Concerto (2002, Royal Holloway String Orchestra). She has also performed Martinu's Sinfonia Concertante for Violin, Violoncello, Oboe, Bassoon and Orchestra at St John's Smith Square, and at the Hereford International Summer School (2004 - 2005) Luisa was the violin soloist working with Tim Barret (piano) and Margaret Cable (voice).
As a chamber musician Luisa has performed in ensembles tutored by the Skampa, Alberni and Fitzwilliam Quartets. She has also performed many new compositions by Composers at the Royal Academy of Music and is working closely with a new composer Jordan Hunt. At the Aldeburgh festival (2004), Luisa took part in a course of contemporary music working closely with the composers and conductor Tim Murray.
As a member of the Britten Pears Orchestra, Luisa has co-led the orchestra and worked with distinguished conductors such as Oliver Knussen, Paul Daniel, James Macmillan, Sakari Orami and Paul Kildea. She was the second violinist in Britten's opera Albert Herring when it was conducted by Paul Kildea and co-led the orchestra in both Eugene Onegin with Simon Kenway and Bluebeard's Castle with Graham Jenkins.
At the Royal Academy of Music, Luisa has worked with many eminent musicians including Lutz Kohler, Sir Colin Davis, Vernon Handley and Simon Bainbridge. She has also been on tour with the Royal Academy Symphony Orchestra with Elton John performing in the NEC Birmingham and at Wembley Arena.

Luisa's orchestral work includes Britten Pears Orchestra, (2002-), Churchgate Sinfonia (2006), EMFEB Symphony Orchestra (2005), South Bank Symphony Orchestra (2005), Young Janacek Philharmonic (2005), Royal Academy Symphony Orchestra (2003-2005), Royal Academy Concert Orchestra (2003-2005). Royal Holloway Symphony Orchestra (200-2002), Royal Holloway String Orchestra (2001).
Education
Luisa's graduate studies took place at the Royal Academy of Music (2003-2005 LRAM teaching & Postgrad Diploma in Performance 2.1), and the Royal Holloway University of London (1999-2002 BMus (hons) 2.2), where Luisa was a choral scholar.
