Orchestral Work
Heather's orchestral work includes London Sinfonietta Solosts, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Scottish Ballet, London Contemporary Orchestra, Marylebone Camerata and Orchestra Europa. Heather reached the final round for the 2nd flute position with Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra in 2009, and has played the Mozart Flute and Harp Concerto with Winchester Symphony Orchestra.
Heather's training orchestras include London Symphony Orchestra Side by Side Scheme (Princ Flute), RAM Symphony and Concert Orchestras (inc Princ Flute), the University of London Symphony Orchestra (Princ Flute), the Royal Scottish National Orchestra Apprenticeship Scheme, RSAMD Symphony, Chamber and Wind Orchestras and Yorkshire Youth Orchestra (Princ Flute).
Heather's chamber work includes Quintet Zambra - Wind Quintet (member from 2006), Harmonia Duo - Flute and Harp (member from 2007), and Pheonix Flutes (member from 2009).
Heather's popular music work includes How to Swin - Rock/Pop Band (member from 2004 - 2007), and work for Rick Wakeman in May 2009.
Education Heather's schooling took place at Chethams School of Music (2001 - 2003). Heather's graduate studies took place at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (BMus (Hons) 2:1, 2003 - 2007), and the Royal Academy of Music (LRAM and PGDIP Merit, 2007 - 2008). Prizes and Awards
