Outreach experience
Helen places great value on music outreach work and has been extensively involved in projects with:
- the London Philharmonic Orchestra (Concertlink and Have a Go sessions)
- the Newham Academy of Music (Wider Opportunities Projects, workshop leader)
- the Lanterns School of the Performing Arts (workshop leader)
She has also taken part in schools projects with the Meridian Clarinet Quartet and given solo recitals in schools.

Teaching experience
Aside from playing, Helen is an enthusiastic teacher and currently teaches clarinet at Finton House School and Homefield Preparatory School.Helen also has several private pupils.

Biography
Helen is co-principal clarinet in St. Paul's Sinfonia and is on the extra list of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
Helen's chamber music performances include Clariphonics (Purcell Room Young Concerts artists' recital January 2009), the Acacia Wind Quintet, the Meridian Clarinet Quartet and the Vena Reed Trio. Recent chamber music performances include appearances at the Hampstead and Highgate Festival, the Purcell Room with Joan Enric Lluna and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Helen's orchestral work also includes Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, St Paul's Sinfonia, W11 Opera Orchestra, London Philharmonic Open Ear Orchestra, Richmond Chamber Symphony Orchestra, Ernest Reed Symphony Orchestra, Jersey Symphony Orchestra, I Maestri, The Wallace Ensemble.
Training Orchestras: National Musicians' Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Desk Partnership Scheme, London Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Trinity College of Music Orchestras, Northern Junior Philharmonic Orchestra, Young Sinfonia (Youth Orchestra of Northern Sinfonia), Durham County Youth Orchestra - Banff International Festival of Youth Orchestras.
Shows: including Bugsy Malone, Flora the Red Menace, Joseph, Little Women, Oliver, Strike up the Band and The Fiddler on the Roof.
Sessions: National Film and Television School, TMandrake.
Concertos: Mozart Sinfonia Concertante with St Paul's Sinfonia (2007) and the premiere of Andy Meyer's Bass Clarinet Concerto with the Kingston Chamber Orchestra (2008).
Education Helen's graduate studies took place at Trinity College of Music where she gained BMus First Class Hons in Performance (2003), LTCL Teaching (2003) and PG Dip (2004). Prizes and Awards
