Biography
Helen graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in June 2008 with a BMus(Hons) having also gained an LRAM in 2007. Whilst there she studied with Martin Outram (Viola) and Igor Petrushevski (Violin). Since leaving she has had lessons with Tatjana Masurenko and Simon Rowland Jones.

Helen's orchestral experience includes Principle Viola for Sinfonia Cymru and for YMSO, Leader for Winterbourne Opera (Violin). Other Orchestras she has played with include London Contemporary Orchestra, Orion Orchestra, Helios and Amadeus Orchestra.

Whilst at the Royal Academy of Music Helen won the Foundation Award and came second in the Bliss Prize. She had Masterclasses and chamber music coaching with Harmut Rohde, Siegmund Nissel, Howard Davis, Yizhak Schotten, and Jerzy Kosmala.

Helen's orchestral work includes Sinfonia Cymru (principal viola, 2008 -); London Contemporary Orchestra; Winterbourne Opera; YMSO (principal viola, 2005 -).

Helen's training orchestra experience includes the Wiltshire Youth Orchestra, leader (Violin) (2003-05); National Youth Orchestra, Viola (2001-04); Wiltshire Youth Orchestra, Viola (2000-03); Attended international music course in Williamstown USA (2000); Pro Corda (2000); National Children's Chamber Orchestra, Violin (1999-02); National Children's Orchestra, violin (1996-00); Salisbury Youth Orchestra (leader 2001-2004) (1996-04); Junior conservatoires (Trinity College of Music, Royal Academy of Music) (1996-04).
