Biography
A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he was the beneficiary of a Worshipful Company of Drapers Scholarship, William is curently performing as co-principal trumpet of the Southbank Sinfonia.

An experienced performer on both modern and historical instruments, William founded the baroque ensemble Spiritato! in 2008, and is the author of www.thekeyedtrumpet.co.uk.

As a soloist, William has performed for the 2006 Battle Proms, sponsored by Classic FM, and given further solo performances on modern and period instruments in Great Britain, Ireland and Scandinavia.

Orchestras: Brandenburg Baroque Soloists, Charivari Agreable Simfonie, Croydon Orchestral Ensemble, Glyndebourne Touring Opera, Haverhill Sinfonia, London Musical Arts Orchestra (LMA Orchestra), Musical Associates (UK) Limited, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Primavera, Southbank Sinfonia, Thames Sinfonia, The Garden Opera Company. William's orchestral work also includes BBC National Orchestra of Wales, City Concert Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra, Bath Philharmonia, Oslo Baroque Orchestra, Welsh Baroque Orchestra, Brook Street Band, Sussex Baroque Players, Yorkshire Baroque Soloists, Ensemble Zimmermann, Grand Union Jazz Orchestra, Keith Tippett Jazz Orchestra, Dave Stapleton Jazz Orchestra. William has also performed in a Southbank Sinfonia side-by-side scheme with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

Additional session and performance work includes BBC NOW Big Band, BBC Radio Wales They Walk Among Us, The Seftons, Amy McDonald and Eaststikeswest.

Education
William's graduate studies took place at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (September 2003 - July 2007, BMus (Hons) 1st Class), Norwegian Academy of Music (August 2006 - December 2006).

Guildhall School of Music and Drama (October 2007 - September 2008, MMus, Orchestral Training).
