Marie is much in demand as an orchestral musician who has worked, often as a principal and sub-principal player, with the Royal Northern Sinfonia, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of Opera North, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the English National Opera Orchestra.

Marie is a versatile artist who also appears as a soloist in music for film and TV and has recorded at top London studios including Abbey Road, Air, Konk, and Angel Studios. Marie has recorded extensively for BBC 1, ITV and Channel 4, as well as projects with Rick Wakeman and 'The Lance Armstrong Story' documentary.

In recent years, Marie has worked with artists including Jonny Greenwood, Stewart Copeland, Rick Wakeman, Anna Calvi, Nicola Benedetti, John Wilson, Bernard Haitink, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Gustavo Dudamel, Edward Gardner and Andris Nelsons, and has performed across Europe and South America in major concert venues such as Konzerthaus Berlin and Teatro Teresa Carreño in Caracas and in all the major concert halls in London.

Marie is an avid chamber musician who currently performs with contemporary music groups rarescale and The Riot Ensemble as well as her own groups The Guastalla Quartet and Mainly Two, both having released two albums, and the Sequoia Trio and Ensemble Nova Luce, which incorporate classical improvisation into performances.

The Guastalla Quartet currently collaborates with jazz pianist Kate Williams and her trio under the name 'Four Plus Three'.

As a soloist, Marie has played with the Karlsruhe Symphony Orchestra, the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra and has recorded the solo violin of Nathan Stornetta's music for Puy Du Fou's new show 'Le Dernier Panache' with the Prague Symphonic Ensemble. Marie studied with Ute Frenzel-Yildiz at the Diapason Music Academy, she later graduated from the Royal College of Music where she studied as a scholar with Berent Korfker, Daniel Rowland and Yuri Zhislin. Marie recently finished her Master of Music with Distinction and awarded Concert Recital Diploma under the tutelage of Krzysztof Smietana at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, to which she has returned as a Guildhall Artist Fellow in 2015/16. During her time studying at Guildhall, Marie played regularly with the Guildhall Symphony Orchestra, String Orchestra, and New Music Ensemble

Throughout her early musical education, Marie received an annual scholarship from L-Bank Trust in Germany and is grateful to have been supported by the Henry Wood Trust, EMI Music Sound Foundation, Stephen Bell Charitable Trust, The Leverhulme Trust and both RCM and GSMD throughout her studies in the UK.
