Teaching experienceAs well as being a successful soloist and orchestral musician Kerry-Ann also teaches Flute and piccolo, teaching all ages and abilities, although specialising in post grade 8 students. She regularly assists students with music college preparation, coaches orchestral sectionals and gives master-classes in both schools and on courses. Kerry-Ann teaches for The Bromley Youth Music Trust, she is also a Tutor on - A Breath of Fresh Air (Anna Noakes) and an Orchestral tutor for The Yorkshire Youth Orchestral |
Biography
Kerry-Ann is an active orchestral and chamber musician and has performed extensively throughout the U.K and abroad with various orchestras and ensembles as well as working in Londons West End. She is currently Principal flute with the London Contemporary Music Group and The Cross Atlantic Players where she performs as a soloist and chamber musician on Flute, piccolo and alto flute. Kerry-Ann is also a keen soloist; recent concerto performances have taken place in St Johns Smith Square, Adrian Boult Hall, Blackheath Halls and The Yoxford Music Festival, as well as performances and tours in Germany, France, Croatia and Austria. She has also worked alongside various composers to produce premier recordings and performances, with a number of solo works composed for her.
Kerry-Ann Searle began her musical training in Aylesbury where she was awarded the Royal Schools of Music County Scholarship in 1994, enabling her to further her studies with specialist professors. In 2000 she accepted a place at Birmingham Conservatoire, studying with Jonathan Rimmer and Frank Nolan, whilst studying at Birmingham Kerry-Ann was selected for the CBSO and Philharmonia Orchestral Training schemes. After graduating in 2004 with BMus (Hons) Kerry-Ann moved to London where she began Postgraduate studies at Trinity College of Music studying with Anna Noakes and Wissam Boustany.

Education
Kerry-Ann's graduate studies took place at Trinity College of Music, Postgraduate Diploma (2004-05), Birmingham Conservatoire, BMus (Hons) (2000-04).
