Biography
Peter has worked as an Orchestral Double Bassist for over 20 years working for many orchestras in the UK and having held positions in Orchestras in South Africa. Whilst in South Africa he was heavily involved in promoting music to disadvantaged communities with the orchestra's STTEPP programme. He is now an active free-lance bassist working with a number of Orchestras in the U.K.

Peter's orchestral work also includes Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
Peter worked in South Africa for a time as a member of the New Arts Philharmonic Orchestra, Pretoria, formerly the National Orchestra of South Africa; Transvaal Philharmonic Orchestra, (which was the Orchestra of the State Theatre Pretoria) and the National Symphony Orchestra of South Africa. With these orchestras Peter worked both within the section and as associate principal and gained a wide range of experience with performances covering symphonic, operatic and ballet repertoire. He also worked with Natal Philharmonic and Cape Philharmonic as a guest and was Principal Bass of the Chamber Orchestra of South Africa.
Education
Peter's graduate studies took place at Peter's graduate studies took place at Royal Academy of Music (1980 - 1984), where he gained the LRAM Teacher's Diploma and their Professional Certificate..
