Biography
Chris has taught at Chetham's School of Music (1993 - 1995), Kirklees Music Service, Essex Music Service and is a horn tutor for Essex Young People's Orchestra. Chris' solo repertoire includes all the major mainstream concertos and sonatas from the Baroque era, to the contemporary movement of the first half the 20th century.

Orchestral Work

Christopher's orchestral work includes the BBC Concert Orchestra, Halle Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, London Concert Orchestra, RTE Orchestra, Scottish Opera, Welsh National Opera, Northern Ballet, Sadlers Wells, London Festival Ballet, Opera North, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, English National Ballet, Royal Ballet Sinfonia, Music Ensemble of London, English Camerata and the Farnaby Brass Ensemble.

Education
Christopher was born in Colchester. 1960. Christopher's schooling took place at St Helena Secondary Modern School, Colchester (1971 - 1976) and Northeast Essex Technical College, Colchester (1976 - 1978). Christopher's graduate studies took place at the Royal Northern College of Music (1978 - 1982).

Prizes and Awards
Associated Board Scholarship to the Royal Northern School of Music, Manchester (1975).

Teachers: Ifor James, Tom Greatorex and a BBC televised masterclass with Barry Tuckwell.
