Fay's orchestral work also includes English Sinfonia, London Symphony Orchestra, London Mozart Players, Philharmonia, Sinfonia 21, Britten Sinfonia, European Union Chamber Orchestra, Pimlico Opera, Moscow City Ballet, Travelling Opera, Crystal Clear Opera, European Chamber Opera, Ambache Chamber Orchestra, Classic East Orchestra (Principal) and the Orchestra Sinfonica dell'Emilia Romagna in Italy (1986).

Fay is Principal Viola for the Apollo Chamber Orchestra.

Chamber Music: Fay plays regularly with pianist, Robert Douglas, and they have given many recitals, including performances at Cambridge University Music Society, Chelmsford Cathedral, Kendal Midday Concert Club and most recently, St John's College, Oxford (November 2011). In April 1996, they gave a live broadcast on Classic FM's Friday Night Live.

Fay was violist of the Alba String Quartet for five years (2000-2005). The quartet made their South Bank debut in the 2002 Park Lane Group series and played at the Cheltenham Festival in 2003. They were holders of the Bulldog Scholarship at Trinity College of Music (2002/03) and were Junior Fellows of Trinity (2003/04). They also appeared at the Dublin Theatre Festival (2003), in the world Premiere of Irish playwright, Brian Friel's play, Performances, about Janacek's second string quartet, Intimate Letters. More recently she has given concerts with the Brahms Quartet (June 2009) and with the Manor House String Quartet (March 2010).

Education
Fay's graduate studies took place at the University of Southampton (BA Hons French: 1986 - 1990), and at the Royal Academy of Music (Certificate of Advanced Studies: 1990 - 1992).
