Biography
Peter is principal clarinet and orchestral manager of the English Touring Opera orchestra.
Peter is also a keen photographer and examples of his work can be seen in the photo gallery above and at www.impactphotos.com.
Orchestral Work
Orchestras: City of London Sinfonia, English Touring Opera, Swansea City Opera. Shows: Les Miserables.
Peter's orchestral work also includes the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, English Chamber Orchestra, London Mozart Players, Opera North and the Brahms Trio of London.
Education
Peter was born in Shepreth 1948. Peter's schooling took place at The Perse School, Cambridge. Peter's graduate studies took place at Emmanuel College, Cambridge (1968 - 1971), and at the Royal College of Music (1972 - 1976).
Prizes and Awards
- Oxford Music Festival (winner of instrumental recital competition, 1977)
- Hastings Concerto Competition (1978 finalist)
- ISM/Natwest Festival Days competition (1981 winner with Robin Colville)
