Biography
Claire is a founder member of the Arcadia Bassoon Quartet, formed at The Guildhall School of Music twelve years ago. The group are experienced recitalists, but also specialise in education work - both projects and lecture-recitals. Arcadia participated in the Live Music Now scheme for several years as well as being involved in education work for the Philharmonia Orchestra.

She is also a member of the Arniston Ensemble, a wind trio consisting of flute, clarinet and bassoon.

Claire has been the Bassoon Professor at Kneller Hall Royal Military School of Music since 1999.

Education
Claire was born in 1974. Claire's graduate studies took place at the Guildhall School of Music from 1992-97, gaining both her undergraduate degree and her postgraduate diploma

Teachers: Graham Sheen, Meyrick Alexander, Robin O'Neill, John Orford, Gordon Laing (contrabassoon) and masterclasses with Pascal Gallois & Klaus Thunemann.
