Biography

Anna is an experienced orchestral and chamber musician.

Anna is enjoying developing her orchestral career and has performed with City Chamber Ensemble, New London Sinfonia, Carl Rosa Opera Company, St Endellion Festival Orchestra, Jersey Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra of St Paul's, Guildford Philharmonic, Lux Aeterna Project (Kings College London), London Soloists Chamber Orchestra.

Recently she gave performances of Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin with Mark Padmore at the 2010 St Endellion Summer Music Festival. Anna has also worked with Tadaaki Otaka, Sir Colin Davis and Ryan Wigglesworth.

During her training as an orchestral player, Anna was invited to guest lead performances of Richard Strauss Metamorphosen and Bartok's Music for Strings Percussion and Celeste with the Britten Pears Orchestra at the Snape Proms. While a member of the Britten Pears Orchestra, Anna worked in orchestral projects with Paul Daniel, Oliver Knussen and Alexander Polyanichko. At the University of Bristol, Anna played in side by side concerts with members of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.

As a founding member of the Vilensky String Quartet 2002 - 2007, Anna has given performances at the Bray Church Concert Series, Houghton Hall in Norfolk and at the St Albans Maltings Arts Centre. With the Quartet she gave premiere performances of Perpetual Lamentations by Artem Vassiliev and Kapustin's Piano Quintet at the Centre for Russian Music at Goldsmiths College. In 2006, Anna was invited to study at the Pro Corda Musical Encounters Course with the Wihan Quartet. As a soloist, Anna has given recitals at Portsmouth and Bristol Music Clubs.

In addition to pursuing a career as an orchestral musician, Anna performs with a number of ensembles for Vilensky Event Music at corporate events and private special events. She also performs Bollywood music at Asian events throughout the UK and has performed in New York at the Asian Big Brother launch.

Anna's graduate studies took place at Royal Academy of Music (PGDip in performance (2002-2003) and the Univeristy of Bristol (2:1 BA Hons, Music, 1998-2001).

Chamber coaching from Gabor Takacs-Nagy, Ioan Davies, Thomas Brandis, Hartmut Rhode, Skampa Quartet, Jerusalem Quartet, Alberni Quartet, Maggini Quartet.
